UNIQLO to Launch Museum Pop-Up With Asian Civilisations Museum

The collection draws from objects in the galleries reinterpreted into wearable designs by local artists Knuckles & Notch, Gabriel De Souza, SONG, HAFI, and Nikkei.

Global apparel brand UNIQLO will debut its first-ever museum pop-up in partnership with the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) as part of its global vision to make art accessible for all, said the brand. The display will run for nearly two months in the museum lobby and feature a curated line-up of Graphic T-shirts from the UT line, as well as the UNIQLO x ACM local UTme! Collection.

This pop-up forms part of ACM’s Crossing Cultures festival, where visitors can attend a series of free arts programmes titled “A Weekend of Curiosities” from 10 to 12 April 2026.

“The concept of Art for All has long been a core part of the UNIQLO LifeWear philosophy with the goal to offer the greatest exposure to art, culture and design to the largest possible audience,” said Daisuke Hamada, Chief Finance Officer, UNIQLO Singapore.

Celebrating Local Artists

The Asian Civilisations Museum presents the art and history of Asia through the lens of Singapore as a port city shaped by trade and cultural exchange. Its collection reflects connections across Asia and beyond.

The collection draws from objects in the galleries, including a candelabra, a pitcher in the form of a dancing woman, and a palampore. These are reinterpreted into wearable designs by local artists Knuckles & Notch, Gabriel De Souza, SONG, HAFI, and Nikkei.

During “A Weekend of Curiosities,” visitors can take part in activities including drop-in crafts and creative workshops with local artists and makers, as well as live music on the ACM Green followed by outdoor film screenings.
