Following its acquisition nearly a year ago by tech giant Delivery Hero, Foodpanda has implemented a brand overhaul which sees a change in the company’s typeface as well as its colors from orange to pink.

The brand’s iconic panda is also getting a facelift making completely it round. The overhaul is aimed at making the brand elements more memorable said the company.

“Pink will be a strong differentiator for Foodpanda to stand out in markets in which orange is used extensively throughout the city,” said head of marketing, Laura Kantor.

The rebranding moved is set to roll out at locations in 190 cities across 12 countries, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the Philippines.

Kantor added that Foodpanda will update its app, website and various digital platforms along with out uniforms and delivery bags for its 3000-strong flee of drivers.
