DEPT has appointed Rohit Shukla as Head of Data Practice and Nitin Kediyal as Head of Commerce Practice. “These strategic hires underscore DEPT’s commitment to strengthening Adobe-aligned capabilities in the region and supporting the evolving needs of ambitious Indian brands,” the agency said in a release.
Shukla brings a blend of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) expertise and strategic data transformation leadership to the role, said DEPT, adding that his “ability to unify complex ecosystems for real-time personalization and business impact will be pivotal in leading the agency’s data practice in India.
Kediyal brings 16+ years of experience and also deep technical expertise in Adobe Commerce, headless commerce, and composable architectures. He has previously led end-to-end commerce implementations across diverse business models and geographies. At DEPT, Kediyal will head the commerce practice, driving engineering excellence, performance, and scalability for digital commerce programs.
“Rohit and Nitin bring a unique blend of technical prowess and strategic vision,” said Himanshu Mody, Head of India, DEPT®. “Their leadership enhances our role as innovation partners, not just implementers, for our clients.”
DEPT is continuing to expand its presence in the region, with a team of over 450 in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
