Air Japan will cease all operations by March 2026, less than two years after its debut as a low-cost carrier under the ANA Group umbrella. Its final flight will depart Singapore Changi Airport for Tokyo Narita at 12:55 am on March 29.
“While we have operated flights under both the AirJapan and ANA brands, we will operate ANA-branded flights exclusively from the next fiscal year onward,” said Air Japan in a statement.
The announcement, made by ANA Group on October 30, 2025, is part of a broader restructuring initiative to consolidate its aviation brands. The company said it will transition to a dual-brand strategy composed of the ANA and Peach brands
starting in fiscal year 2026.
“This decision is aimed at maximizing the entire Group’s profitability and competitiveness while flexibly responding to recent changes in the business environment,” said ANA Group.
ANA Group operates three full-service carriers: All Nippon Airways (ANA), Peach Aviation, and Air Japan, alongside a hybrid airline. The new strategy will see the group streamline its operations to focus on two primary brands: the flagship full-service ANA and the budget-friendly Peach.
