Gaming and esports venture builder, Mana Partners announced the appointment of Matthew Zatto as Chief Commercial Officer. He will work alongside Founders Jamie Lewin and Mike Kang to develop new revenue streams and commercial partnership opportunities in order to expand the company across Southeast Asia.
Mana Partners, which launched earlier this year, was founded by senior executives from gaming brands including Riot Games and Electronic Arts. The group’s consulting business aims to help brands, startups and rights owners to unlock new communities and opportunities through partnerships and programs.
Zatto joins a founding team that includes Managing Partner and Chief Strategy Officer, Jamie Lewin who was most recently Head of Partnerships at Riot Games, and Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer, Mike Kang who was the former Head of Business Development APAC at Electronic Arts. He will be based out of Singapore.
“I’m super excited to be joining the Mana team at such a tipping point in the gaming and esports growth story. I believe Mana Partners has a novel business model and tremendously talented management team that uniquely positions us to capitalise on the opportunity in Southeast Asia and beyond,” said Zatto.
“As the ecosystem evolves, I believe Mana Partners can be the economic catalyst in the gaming and esports industry.
Zatto brings over fourteen years of experience in martech and advertising across a variety of sectors. Before founding his own consulting firm, he was an early employee at Tesla and later led the commercial effort for Wildfire Interactive, a social media SaaS platform that was acquired by Google.
“Matt brings invaluable experience in scaling high-growth and innovative businesses across Southeast Asia. His commercial acumen, adaptability and quenchless enthusiasm will undoubtedly set us up for success in driving the business forward,” Lewin added.
“At Mana Partners, we bring the uniquely diverse experience of our people – within game developers, publishers, esports producers, brands, media agencies and technology companies – to brand challenges. Unbiased by being a rights owner, we develop player-centric gaming & esports strategies for brands – powered by a belief in building our own, constantly evolving technology – to build gameplans that consider the entire ecosystem within the player experience economy.”
