Budget Direct has launched a new Insurance Solved ad film that paints a wryly funny picture of a man searching for better rates on his current insurance.
Developed by 303 MullenLowe Sydney, the latest installment features regulars Sarge, Jacs, and their sidekick Chief investigating the mysterious disappearance of a man who retreated to his basement in search of the best insurance quote.
“He went to search for a better deal for our current home insurance. I haven’t seen him since,” his worried wife tells the investigative team.
Turns out he’s been in the basement on his laptop for three months—and he still hasn’t found a better deal.
“The data is quite astounding. Millions of Aussies receive a high-priced renewal and yet they seem trapped by the misconception that switching is too time consuming or not even worth it,” said 303 MullenLowe Sydney Chief Creative Officer Bart Pawlak.
