The One Club’s Portfolio Night will touch down in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam next month on June 2, allowing aspiring young advertising copywriters, art directors, designers, and other creatives to meet with industry professionals for an evening of advice, networking, and recruitment.

Happiness Saigon is organizing the event and they welcome young talent to attend.

“Happiness Saigon believes that creative ideas can make positive changes,” the agency said. “To achieve those impactful ideas, valuable and highly directional comments from creative experts are the foundation to make ideas better.”

Young creatives can expect to meet with prominent names from the ad world from domestic and foreign companies such as Hao Tran from Vietcetera, Trong Nguyen from Dinosaur, Tien Vo from Ogilvy Vietnam, Jazz and Nichi from Happiness Saigon, and many famous Creative Directors to receive useful suggestions.

On the day of the event, each participant will spend about 1-2 minutes presenting their Portfolio, 1-2 minutes summarizing ideas and 1 minute having a Q&A with the Creative Directors.

In this event, Happiness Saigon will create a challenge with UNICEF with the theme “Clean water for children to wash hands”. Your task is to come up with ideas to help raise awareness and change behavior about this issue.

While reviewing and evaluating the work of young creative talents, the Creative Directors will select one worthy All-Star award winner who gets the chance to fly to New York this August. There, they continue to participate in activities of the Portfolio Night All-stars program organized by The One Club for Creativity. In addition, the winners also get the opportunity to work at Happiness Saigon.

For the creative advertising industry in general and Happiness Saigon in particular, this event will inspire, guide, and orient talented talents on the power of creative ideas and take the first steps on a creative career ahead.
