‘You Can Skip an Ad, But You Shouldn’t Skip Foreplay’ Says Skyn Campaign on Pornhub

Condom brand Skyn is running a pre-roll ad campaign on Pornhub starring pornstars Stoya and Dale Cooper encouraging people that its important that they “Don’t skip foreplay”.

The campaign, which started earlier this month, shows Pornhub viewers a pre-roll ad featuring the two pornstars in two sensual videos of foreplay directed by Cream’s Sergi Castella show Stoya and Dale directly addressing viewers saying: “You can skip an ad, but you shouldn’t skip foreplay”.

The global campaign is in response to research that found 67% of male respondents learn about sex from porn, which it says isn’t always accurate in its depiction of intimacy and pleasure.

 
 

On the website Stoya and Dale Cooper talk about how porn often offers a distorted view of sex: “Remember that pornography is not intended as a sex education program. It’s not a how to guide.” Adding that: “All sex education cannot be thrown on porn, but at the same time, porn could play a bigger role – instead of just focusing on penetration.”
