When Life Imitates Your Bad Internet Connection – Funny New Campaign from Fibre

Chorus has launched a funny new campaign pitching its “Fibre” broadband offerings by showing what life would be like if it played out like your bad internet connection.

It ain’t pretty. But the portrayal is quite funny in some nicely done creative work from Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.

“As we complete the rollout of the fiber network and demand for fiber grows, we are swiftly moving through the adoption curve,” said Karren Harker, head of marketing for Chorus. “Uptake of fiber is now at just under 60% and that means we’re now talking to the last adopters. They are a notoriously hard audience to engage with on technology, feeling more comfortable in the adoption only when a product has gone mainstream. Our latest campaign is focussed on tapping into this mindset by positioning fiber as the new normal and demonstrating the everyday benefits to build desire for those last adopters to convert.”
