Weber Shandwick has promoted Hin-Yan Wong to Executive Vice President, strategic planning and head, APAC Analytics + Intelligence.
Based in Singapore, Wong will work closely with and report to Vanessa Ho Nikolovski, chief client & growth officer, Asia Pacific, and lead the agency’s analytics unit across APAC, which is led globally by Ridhi Malhotra. Along with his new position he will continue to be part of the firm’s geopolitical risk group.
Wong joined Weber Shandwick in 2019 and has overseen client briefs supporting Weber Shandwick’s APAC network.
“In a world faced with increased uncertainty, it’s essential that the strategic advice and counsel we give to our clients is firmly rooted in data, intelligence and human insights,” said Wong.
“The onslaught of information in the current era can be overwhelming for all stakeholders. I’m excited to extend and deepen Weber Shandwick’s relationships in Asia and around the world, while providing a greater sense of clarity for our community of analysts and planners. With the right tools and perspectives, that same information onslaught can empower us to positively impact the world around us.”
