Weber Shandwick has promoted Corbin Hsieh to Managing Director, China. Hsieh was appointed GM in 2021 to after serving as chief growth officer and executive vice president for nearly two years. In his new role as MD, he is tasked with driving strategy and deeper growth for the company in China.
“Corbin has flourished with Weber Shandwick and has been a growth driver for the business for many years,” said Tyler Kim, CEO, Asia Pacific.
“He has been an invaluable counselor to our client portfolio and leadership and has shown great commitment to the development of the business as well as employees.”
Hsieh began his career in Weber Shandwick’s Taiwan office in 2004 before relocating to the agency’s Beijing operations. He then held several communications roles across the industry before returning to Weber Shandwick in an integrated marketing role in the Shanghai office.
