Wavemaker Names Deveshi Chugh Managing Partner in the Asia-Pacific

Wavemaker Asia-Pacific has appointed Deveshi Chugh as Managing Partner. Chugh is not new to the GroupM family, having worked previously at both Mediacom and Maxus. She brings extensive experience working in a regional capacity with some of the biggest consumer brands in the world, driving adaptive marketing initiatives across clients and portfolios.

“I am excited to be a part of this energetic, agile and charged team at Wavemaker. Wavemaker is a forward-looking agency, a front runner at solving client challenges through the intersection of media, data & tech and talent. It is a sort of homecoming for me in GroupM at large,” said Deveshi.

“In this fast-changing world a lot has evolved over the past five years, and I am looking forward to leveraging my experience with the product offerings of Wavemaker for our clients.”

In her new Singapore-based role she will report to Rose Huskey, Chief Client Officer of Wavemaker Asia-Pacific. The role is based in Singapore, where Deveshi will work with Rose in leading client relationships across the region.

“We are delighted to welcome Deveshi. She brings with her a depth of experience and an exceptional understanding of the region that will help our clients in their growth and transformation ambitions in this highly competitive media environment,” said Rose.

“Her track record of successfully leading clients and teams in the region will bring additional depth to our leadership team, while being a certified professional coach is an added bonus for us all at Wavemaker!”

Gordon Domlija, CEO Wavemaker Asia-Pacific added: “Bringing Deveshi to Wavemaker, with all her accumulated knowledge and expertise in this area, demonstrates our committed focus on understanding and adding extraordinary value to our clients’ business.”
