Watsons Takes More Sensual Branding Approach in New Ads

Watsons, Asia’s largest health and beauty chain store has launched a campaign to reinforce its long-established brand positioning of “Look good. Feel great.”

The new ad produced by DDB Group Hong Kong, features Cantopop singer and songwriter idol Pakho Chau  a 30-second spot called “All About You”.

To further raise the brand’s profile, the campaign also leverages PakHo’s highly visited Instagram and Facebook pages –a strategy that saw only four posts generate more than 100,000 likes from.

“We recognised that Watsons needed a new approach that would work across all platforms to communicate the right lifestyle attitude for the brand. Having worked with Watsons for seven years, it was a breakthrough to also have the opportunity to handle the brand’s social media and PR activities.”
