Visa Named Worldwide Sponsor of BTS ‘Arirang’ Tour

Visa data showed foreign travel to South Korea surged over 25% on the week of the concert compared to an average week, while travel spending climbed around 20% from an average week

Visa has announced it is the worldwide tour sponsor for “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’”, marking the group’s return. “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’” will feature 82 shows in 34 regions. The reunion began with 18.4 million tuning in online to “BTS The Comeback Live|Arirang” on 21 March in Seoul.

Visa data showed foreign travel to South Korea increased over 25% during the week of the concert compared to an average week, while travel spending rose around 20% from an average week.

As worldwide tour sponsor, Visa will enable access to the tour through payments. The tour will visit eight cities in Asia Pacific: Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Manila. Visa cardholders can win complimentary tickets through Visa and its issuing partners in these markets and access merchandise and booths at concerts.
