    Venus & Serena Williams’ Rivalry and Deep Bond on Display in New Nike Film

    With the U.S. Open Tennis Championships kicking off in Flushing Meadows, New York, Nike has launched a new campaign film celebrating legendary sisters Venus and Serena Williams.

    The simple yet powerful one-minute film, “You Can’t Stop Sisters,” was created by Nike’s creative partner Wieden + Kennedy and examines the sibling rivalry of two tennis greats.

    “Ever since we were little girls, you’ve compared us to each other,” the narration begins. “My game versus her game. My ranking versus her ranking. My titles versus her titles. My Grand Slams versus her Grand Slams. It’s funny. You saw two tennis players trying to win a game. We saw two sisters changing it.”

    “We were born sisters, but we’ve become each other’s biggest allies,” says Serena. “For us, being sisters is everything. On and off the court, we’re each other’s biggest competitors, but we’re also each other’s biggest advocates. We are where we are today because we did this together.”
