U Mobile Taps Lion & Lion to Handle Social Media Presence

Malaysian mobile and digital services provider U Mobile had appointed Lion & Lion to take charge of the telco’s social media presence for its brand and marketing services portfolio the agency said today.

The partnership, which kicked off in October 2023, sees Lion & Lion rolling out its comprehensive social media strategy and content development plan to enforce U Mobile’s position as Malaysia’s No. 1 5G Network.

With a focus on enhancing network and 5G perception, fostering brand affinity, and bolstering channel growth, Lion & Lion’s digital campaigns are unfolding seamlessly across U Mobile’s social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.

Notable campaigns include #MovingTraditionsForward for Chinese New Year in partnership with calligraphy artist Fong Sheeney, and amplification for Warner Bros. Malaysia’s film releases such as ‘Aquaman 2’ and ‘Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire’ through various activations on social media.
