DDB Group’s Tribal Australia has onboarded Colin Jowell as its first-ever chief strategy officer. Jowell makes the jump from KPMG where he worked in the consultancy’s Customer, Brand, and Marketing advisory.
Prior to that, he co-founded UDKU, an innovation agency that was acquired by KPMG in 2018.
Over the last year, Tribal has grown its headcount from 27 to 45 full-time employees nationally under the leadership of managing director Davy Rennie.
The agency has also turned its attention to rolling out Total Experience, a new global delivery model. The new model consists of Customer Experience, Spark Innovation, Technical Engineering, Create, and Business Consultancy.

Jowell started in the role this week.
