Tourism NT and Melbourne-based agency Balance have teamed up to roll out the first tourism campaign incentivizing travelers to get vaccinated. Fully vaccinated people from non-hotspots can save up to $1000 on their trip to the Northern Territory by getting a discount of $200 for every $1000 spent on bookings.
The spot, featuring sprawling Northern Territory shots, is the first of its kind to trade cash to those who’ve done their duty and gotten vaccinated.
“Summer is an exciting place in the Northern Territory, and we know there are many people around the country that haven’t had the chance to book a holiday, to experience something new, or go somewhere different,” said Tony Quarmby, executive director of marketing, Tourism NT.
“With over $2.3 million in savings made during last year’s NT Summer Sale, this is the perfect opportunity to book the trip you’ve been waiting for and explore the Top End and Red Centre at this incredibly rare, low price.”

The campaign runs from October 1st through March 31st and includes digital, video, and print.
