Google has released its latest list of top Youtube ads in the APAC region that ran during the Ramadan period between April and mid-May.
The spots come from brands across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore and highlight stories based on kinship and gratitude. McDonald’s Singapore and IM3 Ooredoo reunited families across borders using technology, while McDonald’s Malaysia and Zakat SG highlighted the significance of gratitude and giving back.
The unranked list, which was created through an algorithm that factors in organic views, watch time, and audience retention, includes ads from brands such as Tokopedia, McDonald’s Singapore, and OPPO Indonesia that reached over 80 million combined views on YouTube in the period.
