Tomokazu Matsuyama in Toshiba’s Made in 17 Hours Art Challenge

Watch renowned Japanese artist Tomokazu Matsuyama attempt an epic challenge of skill and endurance armed only with a fully-charged Toshiba Ultrabook and its 17 hour battery life. Follow his journey from Japan to Australia, as he races against the clock to create an entire art exhibition during his 17-hour journey.

Matsuyama said: “The reason I took on this project was because it was pretty much impossible… It can take 2-3 months, or up to a year to complete one work.”

A camera crew trailed the Japanese artist as he created works for the opening of the ‘Made in 17 Hours’ exhibition which appeared at The Museum of Contemporary Art, in Sydney last month.
