The Cleft Collection: A Unique Way to Highlight Difficulties for Children Born With Cleft Lip


McCann Health Singapore has taken a unique approach to the highlight the important issue of children born with cleft lip and cleft palate. The agency designed silverware dubbed “The Cleft Collection” that was deliberately designed to make eating a challenge and allow diners to experience the struggles that children with cleft lip and palate face at every meal.

The Cleft Collection was first unveiled at a dinner event at the Ritz-Carlton Singapore, where unknowing guests ate a four-course dinner with the collection, experiencing a small taste of the frustration that children with the condition have to deal with every time they sit down to eat.
