Thailand Campaign Against Heavy Drinking Reimagines Classic ‘Drunken Master’

In an effort to raise awareness on the dangers of drinking too much, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation has released a campaign that reimagines the classic 1978 Hong Kong martial arts comedy film Drunken Master into an enjoyable two-and-a-half-minute PSA.

The ad, created by Leo Burnett, is one of two light-hearted spots that “shows people how quitting drinking will only strengthen one’s self-consciousness which eventually leads to better financial status and a happier, better life.”

The second film offers tips and moves to help people “be strong and fight against drinking” in the form of an edutainment film.
