Dentsu China’s media arm has appointed Terrence Yung as CEO, according to Campaign Asia. He will replace Tony Chen who is stepping down from the role less than a year after accepting it.
Yung previously served as the COO of Dentsu Media China and as the Client President, working out of Dentsu’s Shanghai office, according to his LinkedIn.
Before arriving at Dentsu, Yung held a number of high profile roles within the industry. He served as the CEO of the media agency Vizeum and as a VP and Managing Director of the ZenithOptimedia Group.
Yung’s career began in the early 90’s in Hong Kong where he held roles with Bates Media, DY&R, and Leo Burnett.
