Omnicom Media Group agency UM mobilized its Asia-Pacific teams for Impact Day 2026, the agency’s annual day of community service.
UM’s Global Impact Day fell on 9 July, and teams across ten Asia-Pacific markets extended their community impact commitments through July and beyond.
Hundreds of employees stepped away from their ordinary routine to deliver impact in the places where they live and work.
This year’s initiatives spanned animal welfare, food security, elderly care, environmental sustainability, and employee wellbeing, each rooted in local insights and market priorities.
“Impact Day has always been one of my most cherished days in the UM calendar, and one that makes me so proud to lead this organisation,” said Susan Kingston-Brown, Global President, UM.
“It’s the day when thousands of us around the world step away from the familiar and put our energy and creativity directly into the communities we’re part of. It’s Stand Against Bland, in full colour.”

“At UM, we believe our impact should extend beyond the work we deliver for our clients,” said Rochelle Chhaya, Regional President, UM APAC.
“Impact Day is a powerful reminder that by coming together to support our local communities, we strengthen not only the places where we live and work, but also the culture that defines who we are. It’s a day that reflects our belief that meaningful change starts with collective action.”
“For us, Impact Day is so much more than a day of service. It is the ultimate expression of Stand Against Bland in action,” said Raveena Udasi, Executive Director, Client Success, UM APAC and Regional Impact Day Lead.
“It’s a moment where we step beyond media to bring our full heart, energy, and intent into the communities we call home. Seeing thousands of our colleagues unite globally to drive local, human outcomes is incredibly moving, and I am so excited to have been part of it.”
