Delta Air Lines has launched an adverting campaign at Meitetsu Nagoya Station and Kanayama Station to promote Delta’s service between Chubu International Airport (NGO) and Detroit International Airport (DTW).
As Japan eased travel restrictions in October and leisure travel demand from the Chubu region is expected to increase, Delta kicked off the campaign at the Chubu International Airport, with the support of the airport authority, hanging large-sized banners from the ceiling of the lobby. Delta launched additional OOHs at Kanayama Station and at Meitetsu Nagoya Station.
One highlights the connectivity from Nagoya to the U.S. via its Detroit hub, while another features Kanoa Igarashi (Kinoshita Group), a Delta-sponsored professional surfer who sits comfortably in Delta Premium Select. The creative was done by Japan-based agency, IBN.
Delta currently operates three flights per week on its Airbus 330-200 aircraft. The flight includes meals, created in partnership with Delta’s Michelin two-star consulting chef, Norio Ueno, which will be featured in all cabins.
