Lost Stuffed Puppy Campaign Spot Promotes New Ikea Location in Hong Kong

Ikea launched an online video campaign to promote the recent opening of a new location in Tsuen Wan Hong Kong.

The ads feature Gosig Golden, a fluffy soft toy sold at Ikea, in several iconic locations around Hong Kong as he tries to find his way home.

He encounters different celebrities and influencers who guide him on his way, including DJ Kitty Yuen and actor Issac Ng’s family.

And in perhaps the most trying ordeal, he gets farted on. #ohmy.

Country marketing manager of IKEA Hong Kong, Janet Lai said: “Local community has become the hot topic in recent years, so this time we communicated with the audience through the mysterious adventure of our iconic soft toy Gosig Golden.”

For a similar theme -albeit more gritty and dark- here is a campaign spot from Tile about a lost stuffed panda trying to find its way home. Luckily he avoids problems with flatulence.
