Spritzer Sparkling has launched its nationwide ‘Reset Rasa’ campaign in Malaysia for Merdeka and Hari Malaysia, encouraging consumers to experience familiar local dishes in a new way.
The campaign uses Spritzer Sparkling as a food pairing intended to refresh the palate between bites. The release says the drink’s carbonation helps refresh the senses and palate, supports appreciation of food flavors without overpowering sweetness, and enhances enjoyment of each bite through a refreshed palate.
The campaign draws on local dishes including nasi lemak, satay, char kway teow and roti canai, which the release describes as foods that bring Malaysians together across cultures and generations.
Shiao Chan, Head of Marketing at Spritzer said, “Food is one of the strongest connections Malaysians share, regardless of race, language or background.
“Many of our favourite dishes have become such a familiar part of our daily lives that we sometimes stop noticing what makes them so memorable. Through ‘Reset Rasa’, we want to encourage Malaysians to embark on this journey of rediscovery. Slow down, savour and take pride in the flavours of the iconic local foods they already know so well with a new sense of enjoyment. With zero sugar and no calories, Spritzer Sparkling Natural Mineral Water is the perfect dining companion that complements our local cuisine without overpowering it, making every bite more enjoyable.”
The campaign includes a ‘Reset Rasa’ Merdeka commercial film featuring the pride, nostalgia and everyday enjoyment associated with local dishes. The film highlights food as a connection between communities across generations and cultures.
