Singapore Air plays on Instagram for new product launch

While only 1,650 of Singapore Airlines nearly 38,000 Instagram followers visited the product launch page, the airline shows that a little social savvy can go a long way.

Singapore International Airlines “New SIA Experience” social campaign invited followers on Instagram to solve a puzzle by finding the correct image on their profile @newsiaexperience.

If users guessed correctly, they received a bit more information about the launch before being directed to another stage of the puzzle, via a tag on the image. The final image revealed the full picture of the new release ahead of its official announcement today.

While no numbers have been released as to how many people clicked all the way through, the 1,650 people that chose to follow the one time promotion page must have the social promotions department at SIA hard at work planning the next Instagram challenge for followers of the company.
