Singapore Airlines has launched ‘The New Zealanderlivery Service’ with Motion Sickness, marking 50 years of the airline operating international flights to and from New Zealand.

The initiative will reunite 23 New Zealanders with loved ones around the world through free ‘express delivery’ via Singapore Airlines‘ global network. Running from July 27 to August 15, the service will ship Kiwis to loved ones overseas for free, and safely back home again afterwards.

According to the release, Singapore Airlines and Motion Sickness saw an opportunity to let Kiwis be ordered too, in a world where almost anything can be ordered online.

“In a world where almost anything can be ordered online, Singapore Airlines and Motion Sickness saw an opportunity to let Kiwis be ordered too,” said Motion Sickness in the release.

“Unlike that random item you ordered from Amazon, these deliveries arrive well rested, handled with care, and might just cry a little tear of joy upon arrival.”

‘The New Zealanderlivery Service’ is available via nzds.nz. It was made in a collaboration between Motion Sickness and ED. Studio. People can list themselves for delivery, share a unique tracking link with a loved one overseas, include a note explaining why they should be selected, and choose Express Delivery if they are ready to go immediately. Selected deliveries are then tracked live on the website.

The service is supported by out-of-home, audio, digital, social and radio advertising, and will run until the middle of August.

Within its first week, more than 8,500 Kiwis had listed themselves for delivery, with the first selected deliveries scheduled for London and Zurich.
