Sheungyan ‘Mayan’ Lo Takes Up Chief Creative Role at Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong

Wunderman Thompson has announced that Sheungyan ‘Mayan’ Lo will return to Hong Kong to take up the role of Chief Creative Officer. He will maintain his current position as APAC CCO.

Carlos Camacho departs as Executive Creative Director to take up the same role in Amsterdam.

Lo’s career spans some 25 years in China and he will continue to support the Greater China offices.


“I am delighted to go back home. And I am even more excited to work closer with all the talents in my home market,” said Lo.

His work has been recognized worldwide at shows including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio, LIA, Spikes, Adfest, LongXi, and AWARD, and he has been invited to sit on numerous creative jury panels.

“Mayan is one of the most respected creative leaders in Asia. He has an incredible track record of delivering outstanding creative solutions for some of the most iconic brands in this region. I could not be more excited that Mayan is returning home,” said Matt Parry, managing director at Wunderman Thompson Hong Kong.
