There is a new three minute anti-Trump campaign ad produced by Marvel director Joss Whedon that is sure to get people talking –one way or another. The spot, is a star-studded campaign from Save the Day, a pro-Hillary Clinton group.
Whedon’s Save the Day super PAC has already kicked in $1 million to help Clinton defeat Donald Trump, according to the Hollywood Reporter writes, but this ad is also aimed at getting more people to register to vote and rally in support of Clinton.
While the video does not mention Clinton or Trump by name, it does reference a “racist, abusive coward who could permanently damage the fabric of our society.”
The list of A-listers in the ad is quite impressive including Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, Robert Downey Jr and James Franco and more familiar and slightly faces –a point which is actually made fun of.
As a bonus for many, the ad goes on to say that if people vote for anyone other than The Apprentice host then Ruffalo will get naked.
“Seeing somebody famous makes people stop,” Whedon told the Hollywood Reporter. “Seeing something funny makes people stop. Seeing something with emotion makes people stop,” he adds. “Those are the ways you can get to people.”
