Samsung Australia has announced the availability of its 2026 Odyssey gaming monitor lineup and a new ViewFinity S8 high-resolution monitor, including what the company describes as the world’s first 6K gaming monitor.
The 2026 Odyssey range comprises three new G8 models and a new G7 model. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) offers 6K resolution at 165Hz, with Dual Mode enabling up to 330Hz at 3K resolution. The 27-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HF) supports 5K resolution at 180Hz or up to 360Hz in QHD through Dual Mode. The Odyssey OLED G8 (G80SH), available in 27-inch and 32-inch sizes, features an OLED panel with 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
The G80SH incorporates Samsung’s Glare Free technology, which, according to the release, reduces glare without affecting OLED picture quality, and QD-OLED Penta Tandem technology, which the company says enhances efficiency and brightness. Connectivity options include USB-C with up to 98W charging.
The new Odyssey G7 (G73H) is a 32-inch OLED model positioned as a more accessible entry point into Samsung’s OLED monitor range.

The ViewFinity S8 is a 40-inch curved WUHD monitor with 5K2K resolution, aimed at creative professionals.
