RC Cola Explores Some of Humanity’s Greatest Milestones – Like the Pyramids and Sandals With Socks

So, it turns out all those great things humans created over the course of time, fire, the pyramids, the internet, wearing sandals with socks, were actually from an ageless, intrepid woman and her manic rabbit friend. With inspiration from RC Cola.

All this according to a fun new global campaign film done in partnership with Mediabrands Content Studio Australia and Mediabrands Philippines, working alongside The Glue Society and creative boutique Ravenous Mantis.

As the world’s third-largest cola company, RC Cola sought to cut through a heavily cluttered category with what aims to be “internationally fun and relevant”.

 
 

The one-minute film takes us on a wild reimagining of four of the greatest moments in human history: The discovery of fire, the creation of the Pyramids, the invention of the Internet – and lastly the holy union of socks and sandals. With RC Cola’s own twist across the plot line.

“A naughty animatronic rabbit traveling through time seemed like the perfect thing to do for this project,” said Paul Bruty, director at The Glue Society.

 
 

“It’s the kind of personality you could write a hundred different scripts for.”

“This new global platform is testament to how work can be made post-pandemic, a border-breaking collaboration to create a fresh new ad, for an audience not defined by where they live but a common set of values,” said Tricia Camarillo-Quiambao, CEO Mediabrands Philippines.

“Our partnership with Mediabrands Content Studio and the Glue Society was seamless and fun.”
