Havas has created a new Chief Strategy Officer role and appointed Raphaël de Andréis to the position, in addition to his responsibilities as CEO Western Europe.
De Andréis will report directly to Yannick Bolloré, Chairman & CEO, Havas, and work with leaders across the group’s Creative, Media, Health, and Content at Scale networks. His responsibilities include helping shape Havas’ global strategy, guiding its brand portfolio roadmap, and accelerating alignment across Havas Villages.
According to Havas, the new role supports its ambition to become a more client-centric and AI-enabled network. The position is also intended to bring together creativity, data, technology, and execution through the group’s Converged.AI operating system.
Havas said de Andréis will oversee strategic consistency across the organization while accelerating collaboration between networks and disciplines. The role is also expected to support a more efficient delivery model and strengthen the group’s market differentiation.

De Andréis began his career at TBWA before joining BETC in 1996. He became President of BETC in 2007 before joining Canal+ as Executive Vice President. In 2013, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Havas Media Network France and President of Havas Productions. As a member of Havas’ Executive Committee, he later led the integration and development of Havas Village France while supporting the growth of the group’s businesses across Western Europe.
