Tokyo-based creative agency PUSH Japan has promoted Aime Okamoto to Managing Director. The agency also announced that Founder Mike Sunda will transition into a global managing partner role, where he will continue to oversee the agency’s international vision and strategic growth.
As Managing Director, Okamoto, who joined PUSH five years ago, will oversee the agency’s day-to-day operations, team development, and client partnerships while helping guide PUSH’s continued growth in Japan and internationally.
“Our company culture is one of the things we’re most proud of – it’s what has contributed the most to our talent retention, as well as how we build our relationships with clients,” said Okamoto.
“I’m looking forward to helping the company continue to grow in Japan whilst staying true to the values that we’ve built over the past 6 years.”
Before joining PUSH, Okamoto worked across finance, operations and business development, with roles spanning renewable energy, logistics and advertising technology. Her experience includes managing complex international projects and helping businesses scale.
The agency said Sunda will remain closely involved with the company in his new global executive position, focusing on expanding PUSH’s international presence and long-term strategic direction while supporting the agency’s next phase of growth.
PUSH specializes in culture-driven marketing, creative strategy, and brand experiences. According to the release, PUSH will continue to prioritize its culture-first philosophy under Okamoto, investing in its people.
