Sani Ahmed has returned to Vietnam to join The Purpose Group after working several years with WPP, including JWT Pakistan, Ogilvy Pakistan and most recently at Ogilvy Vietnam, and Ogilvy Indonesia.
Prior to this appointment, Ahmed was the Integration lead for Indosat (Ooredoo) and Kraft Heinz after which he transitioned to Geometry Indonesia as Integration lead for their client base.
During his previous stint in Vietnam Ahmed led the portfolio for Nestle Milo, Unilever, Castrol and other accounts for four years.
“Vietnam has amazing potential,” said Ahmed. “People tend to say there is a scarcity of talent but I disagree.
On joining The Purpose Group, which recently saw the departure Chief Creative Officer and Partner, Kit Ong, Ahmed said: “The work speaks for itself, and I hope that I can help in leveraging this potential in order for The Purpose Group to reach its ‘higher’ purpose.”
