Publicis Worldwide Hires Brian Yang and Wee-Hoon Tan for Greater China

In a joint announcement Publicis Worldwide Greater China has hired Brian Yang as executive creative director and Wee-Hoon Tan has the head of planning.

Yang, a former creative director at Dentsu Beijing, brings more than 20 years experience in marketing communications. He later worked at Euro Shanghai as creative director with clients including Chivas Regal, Johnny Walker, Hong Tashan, Jaguar, Bosch, and Johnson & Johnson.

From 2010-2014, Yang worked as group creative director at DDB Beijing on clients including Tmall.com, JD.com, YHD.com, Volkswagen, and Yili QQ star. In July 2014, he rejoined Dentsu as executive creative director on key client FAW-VW.


 

Both Wee-Hoon and Brian are world class talents with very strong track records in helping lead the change for top class marketers.

Tan joins Publicis Beijing from Ogilvy Singapore where she led strategy development for KFC and SingTel TV. Also with 20 years industry experience, prior to Ogilvy Tan led strategy development at BBDO for the regional HP business and the Singapore Johnson’s Baby account.

She has also worked client side for major marketers Tourism Australia, HP and UOB Bank. Tan also has extensive experience in the public relations industry at Burson-Marsteller where she worked on clients including Johnson & Johnson Medical, Allergan, Sony and Motorola.
