The acquisition intends for Tremend to serve as a global delivery center for Publicis Sapient.
Publicis announced the acquisition of Tremend, one of the largest independent software engineering companies in Central and Eastern Europe.
Based in Bucharest, Romania, Tremend was founded in 2005 Tremend currently reaches 60 million of its clients’ end users and will serve as a global delivery center for Publicis Sapient. It’s current client roster includes companies such as Carrefour, ING and Orange. Tremend has a 650 strong software engineering staff.

The transaction remains subject to approvals by the relevant competition authority.
