Pokemon Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Available Exclusively in South Korea

Starting this month in South Korea, Krispy Kreme is rolling out Pokémon doughnuts. The company did not say whether or not Pokemon doughnuts will be available at Krispy Kreme locations outside of South Korea, so you have to go there to get them –for now.

The gang’s all there –in South Korea that is. You can get Squirtle for 2,000 won (US$1.80), a Pikachu for 2,500 won ($2.27), or Pokéball for 1,800 won each. You can also order a “Pokémon Dozen” for 15,000 won ($16.30).

Perhaps a consolation prize since Pokemon Go app has yet to get an official release in South Korea outside of a limited service area?

We like the way GameRant described the release:

[su_quote]Although the thought of cracking open a sugary version of Squirtle’s noggin for some sweet jelly filling is a little disturbing, the tie-in of cute Pokemon references and a delicious, sweet snack is a match made in financial heaven. [/su_quote]

See you in South Korea?
