The new spot from Sony, promoting the popular console for the coming holiday season, offers a frenetic 60-second slice from the life of a PS4 player. There’s dancing, wall climbing, hot girls, hot guys, action figures…yah, it’s got it all.
Interesting slogan: “PS4, for the Players” –We guess that’s ok, since Sony is not using the common American form “Playas”, which is the modern version of playboy. Gamers are, as far as our research shows, usually not playboys.
And, at the end, it becomes a music video with back dancers and the whole lot. Have a look for yourself.
The film, which was created by agency 180 Amsterdam, is chock full of Playstation game references, including No Man’s Sky, Street Fighter V and Uncharted 4.
The spot was released in advance of Black Friday which screams into the lives of Americans on November 27th, and will run on TV and in movie theaters all the way up until Christmas.
