PharmEasy Turns CPR Steps Into A Song for World Heart Day

Teaming up with cardiologist Dr Jivitesh Satija for the campaign to simplify CPR awareness.

PharmEasy has launched a CPR song with cardiologist Dr Jivitesh Satija as part of a week-long social media campaign for World Heart Day.

The campaign, developed in collaboration with Satija, DM Cardiology, Interventional Cardiologist, uses music, rhythm and simple demonstrations to explain the fundamentals of CPR.

Satija demonstrates the basic steps of CPR using a pillow, covering how to check whether a person is responsive, call for help and perform chest compressions. The tutorial presents the steps through a song.

Built around the thought, “Don’t miss a beat. CPR is a simple 3-step routine: pump, release, repeat,” the campaign aims to make CPR awareness more accessible and relatable, particularly for younger digital audiences.

“In a cardiac emergency, knowing what to do can make a critical difference, yet CPR is something many people may never have learned or feel confident performing,” said Gaurav Verma, Chief Business Officer, PharmEasy.

“With this campaign, we wanted to make CPR easier to understand, more relatable and, most importantly, easier to remember when it matters. By combining expert guidance from a cardiologist with music and a format familiar to younger audiences, we hope to take CPR beyond awareness and encourage more people to learn this essential skill and feel ready to act in an emergency.”
