Safeguard, in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross and Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore have created the BayaniHands Project to help support the country’s healthcare frontliners in their ongoing battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.
BayaniHands was coined from the Filipino term “bayanihan”, which translates to the communal unity of working together to achieve a common goal. In the campaign, the brand is encouraging Filipinos to become everyday heroes by doing what they can to keep the nation safe in each other’s hands.
The film was produced following the country’s Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) protocols and features real-life shots and tells the story of Filipino bayanihan during these difficult times, while calling on more people to support the Red Cross frontliner efforts by donating online.
