Oxypura Calls on Sri Lankan Warriors to Show the Power of Their Facemasks

Sri Lankan company Puritas launched the ‘The Great Warriors of Oxypura’ campaign to promote their face masks. The brand has produced Oxypura face masks for decades; however, with the onset of the pandemic, Chinese and Korean masks invaded their market.

Oxypura decided to turn local, positioning their products as designed by Sri Lankans for Sri Lankans, to fight the foreign virus. After digging deep into the nation’s history, they came across a slew of brave warriors.

They then, with the consultation of local historians, brought these warriors to life. The strength of different mask layers were matched to the strengths of historical warriors, from their appearance to the weapons and accessories they wielded, each warrior and therefore each layer got its own protective identity.
