Oreo has launched a new campaign as millions of Thais gear up for the annual Songkran festival. The 30-second spot was created in collaboration with Publicis Groupe Indonesia.
Things may be a bit different this year and Songkran festivities may not be what they once were, but that doesn’t mean families can’t celebrate the holiday at home. That’s the message Oreo is sending out in their latest campaign.
Squirt guns and water fights may not litter the streets of Chiang Mai, but we can still soak dad at home. The spot features a father coy to his son’s impending assault. He dips a cookie in milk to convince him to call it off only to be attacked by his wife instead.
It’s all a bit of fun from the cookie company; a nice lighthearted approach to a strange holiday season.
