    This week we highlight Phoebe Long, an Account Manager at Quantcast.

    When discussing her inspiration, Phoebe brought up her father, a hardworking man who has always believed in her and continuously supported her as he worked to provide for her family.

    Seven Questions

    How did you get your first break in the industry?

    I have always been keen on mass communication as a subject since high school. It was actually my lecturer at college who introduced me to my very first media agency job and I’ve enjoyed what I am doing so far.

    What is your personal mantra?

    Treat people with sincerity. If you’re sincere in your approach, others are likely to reciprocate. You may feel this makes you vulnerable, but it’s the strongest value of all.

    From what person, place or thing have you drawn your greatest creative inspiration?

    My dad is the most inspirational person that I have ever been lucky enough to know. He has supported me endlessly with all my decisions, believing in my dreams. He is a very hardworking man who always does his best in providing us with the best he could, sacrificing so much and always putting family as his first priority.

    What do you love about the job?

    Challenge is what keeps me going. I love it when we’ve helped a client in achieving their business goal, which helps create a relationship based on trust. I believe this is one of the best ways to build trust with the clients and sustain the relationship.

    What about your job are you not so crazy about?

    When you receive a brief in the morning and the live date was yesterday…

    What is some work you’ve done that you’re most proud of?

    I’m proudest when I overachieve in delivering results for my clients. When the client comes to me with their business challenge, I go above and beyond to help deliver against their business goals. I work very closely with my clients and provide them with learning and knowledge that I’ve garnered to help guide them. I feel very proud when I deliver a successful campaign and the client is amazed by the results.

    If you had to choose another career, what would it be?

    A vet! I believe each and every animal on earth has as much right to be here as every human being. As we don’t speak their language, they can be really helpless sometimes, especially the strays. As a vet, I could do my best to save as many lives as possible.
