Omnicom Media Group has promoted Rochelle Chhaya to CEO of its operations in Thailand. Prior to the promotion, Chhaya was OMD’s Chief Operating Officer in APAC.
The appointment marks a return to Thailand for Chhaya, who spent close to four years establishing OMG’s digital offering and footprint in the market. She subsequently moved back to Singapore and took on roles within the network including Managing Partner and Chief Digital Officer for OMG in APAC.
“Rochelle has done an outstanding job of improving OMD’s organizational processes for growth while enhancing its operational capabilities and efficiency,” said Tony Harradine, CEO, OMG APAC.
In her new role, Chhaya will be tasked to drive profitability and efficiency across OMG’s media agencies OMD and PHD in Thailand. Additionally, she will also oversee and support the development of the network’s digital transformation roadmap as well as the operationalization of products to foster stronger client partnerships, drive digital growth and creativity in the market, said a release.
