Omnicom Media Group (OMG) Vietnam has announced key appointments on the back of new business wins for the agency including Chanel, Sanofi, Asia Foods, along with the retention of Beiersdorf and Vinamilk.
The leadership changes include the promotion of Trang Tran from Business Director to the newly-created role of Head of Transformation. A 14-year industry veteran, Tran has held various EMEA regional roles at OMD and PHD. She will now be tasked with “simplifying OMG’s operational processes to meet clients’ changing needs.”
It was additionally announced that Hoang Nguyen joins the leadership team as Planning Director. Nguyen previously held media planning roles at Wavemaker, GroupM, and Saatchi & Saatchi. Before joining OMG, Hoang was the Media Planning Director of Dat Viet.
Uyen Nguyen Diep has been appointed as Strategy Director. In her previous role as Associate Director at Mindshare, she has worked alongside Unilever, where she oversaw the strategic planning, content, and commerce portfolio along with playing a pivotal role in establishing the E-commerce foundation for Unilever. In her new role, she is responsible for optimizing the planning strategy powered by the agency’s data platform, OMNI.
Finally, there is the elevation of San Nguyen from Senior Digital Manager to Associate Planning Director. A creative industry native, she brings nine years of experience working with brands, including L’Oreal, Coca Cola, and Kimberly Clark.
