Ogilvy Asia-Pacific has launched a unified social marketing offering under the Social@Ogilvy banner, providing clients across the region with a comprehensive suite of services.
While first introduced globally in 2012, Social@Ogilvy now formally consolidates Ogilvy’s social capabilities across Asia-Pacific into a single unit. The offering integrates paid and organic social, influencer marketing, and social commerce through a 550-person team operating in 16 markets.
The “Connected Social” approach aims to address fragmentation across markets, where brands often rely on multiple specialized agencies without a centralized strategy. Ogilvy’s integrated model brings together social media research, campaign development, content creation, media planning and buying, influencer marketing, and social commerce and CRM, providing clients a single access point for end-to-end social marketing services.
“Social media is one of the most powerful cultural forces shaping how people connect, communicate, and consume. Brands can no longer afford to simply ‘do social’ as a tactic; they must become social at their core by embedding cultural relevance, community, and conversation into every touchpoint. Our unified offering empowers clients with an integrated, seamless approach that drives deeper impact, greater efficiency and results from creating brand value, consumer engagement to social commerce sales,” said Chris Reitermann, Co-CEO of Ogilvy APAC.
“The way brands show up on social media in APAC needs better connection – with culture, with brand, and with business. Our in-house creators, media buying, influencer and commerce specialists, as well as content production and operation centers in Bali, Manila, and Wuxi, allow us to execute at scale and consistently, across every market in the region,” said Jeremy Webb, Head of Social@Ogilvy.
To support its offering, Social@Ogilvy leverages proprietary tools and strategic partnerships, including WPP Open’s AI capabilities for audience insights and campaign optimization. The team has also expanded collaborations with Meta and TikTok through exclusive training and joint initiatives.
