Nike Makes Brant Hirst Marketing Director for Pacific Region

Nike has turned to within the ranks to hire a new marketing director for the Pacific region, with Brant Hirst being elevated up to replace Juliana Nguyen who spent more than six years in the position.

Nguyen is said to be relocating to Sydney from the Melbourne-based Nike headquarters. Prior to this she was managing director of TBWA\Vietnam for a two and a half year stint.

Hirst has been with Nike since 2010, having last year became the first brand manager for the women’s category, leading the ‘Better For It’ campaign and the Nike+ Training Club Tour earlier this year. He was also with Lion Nathan between 2008 and 2010.

“I am genuinely excited about this opportunity. It is a huge privilege and I’m fortunate to be leading a great team,” said Hirst. “Nike is a brand that I am incredibly passionate about. I look forward to playing a new role as we continue toward our goals.”

Nike’s media partners in Australia are One Green Bean for PR and Mindshare for media in Australia.
