New ‘Shot on iPhone’ Campaign Goes Behind the Scenes with the Toronto Maple Leafs

Apple this week premiered its latest “Shot on iPhone” ad with a short film shot by Toronto Maple Leafs players Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner.

Shot on an iPhone XS, the 40-second spot shows the players practicing, traveling, and walking the streets of Toronto with the song “Friction” by Canadian hip-hop group The Lytics, playing in the background

The timing of the ad coincides with the Stanley Cup Playoffs which sees the Maple Leafs squaring off with their long-running rivals the  Boston Bruins this week.
